Since the 1890 census was destroyed by fire in 1921, it'd be pretty hard
8-) A lot of us would like to look up names on it!!! A few isolated
fragments survived. Go to

more info.
There was a special census - "Special Schedules of the Eleventh Census
(1890) Enumerating Union Veterans and Widows of Union Veterans of the Civil
War" that was taken. You should be able to look at that film through the
FHC or NARA.
Nevada did state censuses in 1885 & 1895. According to "The Source", those
are held in the state archives and the FHC might have copies.
