Tim, and listers,
I spoke to soon. You were most correct when indicating how helpful and
courteous they are!!! Today in the mail I received my reply. They were
not able to find the information I requested concerning my ancestor. I was
very impressed with a handwritten note explaining what they did to locate
the information, and apologized for the delay, etc... When they were
unable to locate the information, they sent it to a decoding area, which
also was not able to locate any thing either. In doing all this they also
returned my check uncashed. Thank you for your assistance!!

Mary,
That is most unusual. That is busy office, but all last year they have
been very helpful and courteous when I call or visit in person. You
might want to call them to see what happened. Telephone 775-328-3275.
