Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

1900 Census Nevada Washoe Reno
Lillie Dean age 23 servant born Vevada 8/1876 Married 4 years one child. Working in home of John Fitzgerland. Shows no child of hers in household.

Later Lillie Merrill marries Phillip Gillson ...dont have exact date yet.
Phillip Gillson died October 14, 1938. Obit says steip-father of Francis Ray Dean of Richmond, Calif.

John F. Ellias Taken by Death
John F. Nendle Ellias, resident of Reno for several years, died today in a
local hospital.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Ellias and daughter, Mrs. Dorothy McCartney of
Durango Co., Mrs. Irene Gerlech of San Francisco. Grandchildren; Jackie and
Sharon McCartney of Durango and Kim and Deli Gerleeh of San Francisco.

Eugene F. Marty, a driver for the American Railway Express Co., was found
dead in the basement of his home this morning in what local officers said was
apparently a suicide.
Coroner Laurance Layman said Mr. Marty was killed by a bullet in the heart
fired from a .22 rifle found near the body. A suicide note signed by the dead
man was found in the home.
Surviving the deceased; widow, Mrs. Dorothy Marty and daughter, Joyce, both
of Reno, father, Eugene H. Marty of Reno and sister, Mrs. Geneva Jones, of
Reno.
