This maybe the Cora Cross your looking for, she became Mrs. Charlie
Stoddard, she was the daughter of Mrs. S. J. Cross.
From the Journals of Alf Doten, STODDARD & CROSS
-April 25,
1901
received a letter from Mrs. Cora N. Stoddard, wife of Charlie Stoddard
of Reno, and daughter of Mrs. S. J. Cross of Como asking me to write
something on the death of her mother

received letter from Mrs. Cora N. Stoddard stating in view of the delay
on the part of the Journal in publishing my (Doten) memorial tribute,
she concluded to drop it and apologized for any trouble she might have
given me

Carson Appeal memorial tribute by Doten on Mrs. S. J. Cross. Cross and
their young gals from Sonoma, who came to Como in the socialable days.
Mrs. Cross was a noble hearted wife, mother and friend.
