Gerry,
What a great job by Ben! Another few years and some of these stones would
be gone. I'll bet there is a good story behind Mary Elizabeth Madison also
known as "Panniment Anne." Also, one of the "unknowns" is known by
someone.
It has a small pink flower by it.

Subject: [NVPERSHI] Rhyolite Cemetery, Nye County, Nevada
Ben Gibson of Las Vegas went to Beatty, Nevada and to Rhyolite,
Nevada
(Nye County) and photographed both cemeteries in his quest for his Eagle
rank in the Boy Scouts.
I have just finished posting his pictures for Rhyolite on the Nevada
Tombstone website, at
http://www.usgwtombstones.org/nevada/nevada.html
Select Nye County then scroll down to see the pictures. Beatty and
Rhyolite are approximately 125 miles North of Las Vegas. We are truly
greatful that Ben was able to capture some of the deteriorating tombstones
and some of its history for genealogists to share.
