New pictures were added to the Huffaker Cemetery (aka Holcomb-Huffaker) which is near
Reno, Nevada. This cemetery was almost destroyed by new housing development (progress)
but luckily some records survived.
Gayle Hastert contributed the survey in 2000, including information provided by Verna
Stumpf Paterson who interviewed Mrs. Kate Holcomb Mansfield in 1953. The Lyell family are
Mrs. Mansfield's ancestors.
Many thanks to Bob Berrington of Reno who took the photos to have them preserved for all
future researches. The cemetery is primarly the final resting place of the Lyell family,
who trekked across the wilds of an early USA in 1863.
