Hi,
Melville Hamilton
Arrival Date: Nov 1914
Port of Arrival: St. Albans, Vermont, USA
Born: abt. 1878, Nova Scotia, Canada
Race/Nationality: Scottish
Occupation: Farmer
Last Address: Westholm, British Columbia, Canada
Father: Amos Hamilton, Five Mile River, Nova Scotia
Going to San Francisco
Source: Border Crossings: From Canada to U.S. 1895-1956.
I checked Ancestry and FamilySearch but didn't find anything else about Melville and
Myrtle.
Nevada's death information is considered confidential and only available to family
members. For further explanation go to
http://health.nv.gov/VS.htm .
The Central Nevada Museum also contains a research library. Their web site is located at
www.tonopahnevada.com/CentralNevadaMuseum/research.html . I'd contact them and see if
they have any additional info and I'm sure there will be a fee for the research. They
might have info about Melville if he died in a mine disaster.
Records are constantly being added to
FamilySearch.org which is free and next year the
1940 Census will be released to the public. Successful Searching!
