Meadow Valley Wash is located in Lincoln County and at the south end, it
opens to Warm Springs or the Muddy Valley now called Moapa Valley. This area
was settled by Mormon pioneers and he probably followed the muddy River to
where it empties into the Colorado River. There was a warehouse built there
called Calville about 1861, but it only lasted until 1868. It also had
military personnel.
When building the Sante Fe Railroad, Wm Clark brought it down the Meadow
Valley Wash into the Muddy area which later became Clark County. It is
located about 65 miles north of Las Vegas to hit Moapa (upper Moapa Valley).

Subject: [NVLINCOL] Meadow Valley Wash, NV
Was wondering where, Meadow Valley Wash, would be for I found a
article,
where a man started from Pioche, NV, going to Total Wreck, A.T. to get
there he when down Meadow Valley Wash, to the Colorado River, he then
build a water craft of some kind, and sailed down the Colorado River, and
settled in Total Wreck, A.T.. Not sure of the time period, but have a
feeling 1870's or so.
Thanks
George
