I can take a look here at my home files; if nothing found I can check on
Saturday .. I have other lookups to do. Judy

Message Board Post:
My great-uncle Hugh Colin MONROE was born in Canada in 1877 and grew up in
Cass
City, MI after the family moved there. He apparently was either a
prospecter or a salesman who traveled in Nevada. I have a newspaper
clipping from Cass City dated 1908 in the margin that says Hugh Colin MONROE
drowned at his home in Winnemucca, Nev June 30. I wondered if there is
anyone who has access to the old newspapers who might see if there is any
mention of his death at the end of June or beginning of July 1908? I would
be happy to pay any costs if there were anything to copy and send.
