Subject: Brochures for SW/SC States :)
Hi Everyone,
As you may or may not know, FGS is being held in Ontario CA this Fall.
Since
I live in CA, and am CC Rep for the SW/SC region, I decided to use
the FGS
Conference as a target to try to get as many brochures for the USGW
Project
made up as possible. I am active in the CA State Gen Alliance which
is
sponsoring the conference and am certain I can get table space donated for
the USGW Project.
I have begun posting samples of Brochures here:
http://www.cagenweb.com/marin/USGW/linksmenu.htm
Working with Holly and Tina, I made up a Sample Project Brochure for
GenTech
that you can also view. It is going to take awhile before the AB
officially
gets the Publicity Promotion Committee off the ground. I am concerned
that
this time may make it impossible to get as much done as we would like, so
I
have decided to offer to make up "sample" brochures for
each of the States
in the SW/SC Region. Given that we do not have an AB sanctioned process, I
decided to see how I could help meanwhile.
I have already made up a brochure for CA with Richard's permission that
you
can view on the link above. I merely went to his CA State site and
copied
whatever seemed to make sense and made into a tri-fold brochure.
Understand,
you are in no way bound to what I come up with. *IF* I can get this
region
completed post haste, I will either offer to do the same for the other
regions and/or see if I can get help from reps or CCs. I make these up in
Word and will send you the results for evaluation.
My goal would be, natch, to get brochures made that you would be willing
to
have displayed at conferences. As time permits, I will make changes
per
your
suggestions (or you can make them and send it all back to me
<g>)
I really would like to see a bank of magazine racks with brochures for
every
county in every state, but time make not allow for that this year. If
there
could at least be a brochure for every state, it would be a
beginning.
If you already have a brochure made up, would you please send me a copy?
If
you would like the brochure posted on the
"sample" page, I will do that as well.
I am going to proceed assuming I have your "OK"... if I do not, please let
me know???
Thanks!
