Thank you Joy. That is how it must be for my information to be involved with
this project. I was so excited to be able to contribute so much stuff for
free for people to access since genealogy has become so expensive for
something that is our right to have and not be milked for every dime to get
it.
I now would like to give you all of the information left on the White Pine
Historical and Archeological Society regarding White Pine history, including
the pictures, except for the burial information that is on my
www.webpanda.com domain. You will need to give the WPH&AS credit on their
pictures and credit where it says from others and myself please. Make sure
the proper credit on the Pony Express is given as that is one of the few
things not done by myself.
I am taking the website down soon except for the WP Burials since I can work
on them from my new home in Colorado when people send me updates on those. I
think copying the pages and pics would be best for you to do so you have the
text and know where the pictures need to go. Please let me know what pages
you have done so I can remove them as you go.
Please tell me what you do not want too. The Fort Ruby and Ely State Prison
information brings lots of good comments. Please make sure your name is on
the pages for people to contact about WP History instead of me though. I
will probably volunteer for lookups in material I have in my possession,
books, etc. Let me get moved and settled. Lets shoot for after July as I
have to be in Calgary Canada and Washington for most of that month then I
will be home with no other commitments.
I will be putting up Chaffee County, Colorado on the website instead of NV
info since I am a well known historian from there but moved away 12 years
ago to White Pine County for my husband to work until he could retire. We
plan on being back there in a month or so. I have a great deal of
information on Chaffee County CO and wrote a book on The Lake County War
there and am co author of A History of Chaffee County CO. So I will be
working with the people in this group with that if they wish me too.
I appreciate your understanding in my feelings in this matter.

June:
I promise your information will never be sold or turned over to someone to
make a profit over. I am committed to getting free data on-line for
everyone.
If I cannot do that, I will delete every last byte.
