Ummmm, rootsweb has never asked us to remove graphics of any kind
from our
web sites.
This whole thread came about because the manager of the mailing lists
asked the list owners to try to keep discussions of the war off the lists.
For one thing it would generate a lot of mail, start flame wars, and is
not in keeping with the theme of the mailing lists - Genealogy. Some list
moms (and dads) over reacted telling folks they could not have anything on
their tag line in support of the troops.
As a list mom, I do not have a problem with anyone putting anything in
their tag
line.
