Yes that is correct Joan and I respect EVERYONE's right to free speech. And
yes I understand that if I want my webpage on Rootsweb, I should be
following their rules. I just get so tired of people always telling me what
I can't do.

Here's your challenge, Patricia.
I have this feeling that Rootsweb doesn't want pro-war messages on
their pages because then they'd have to allow anti-war messages as
well.
I know at least one county coordinator against the war who hadn't
even thought of posting some kind of patriotic, pro-troops but
anti-war message on her pages, but who will if you get to post your
pro-war stuff. Fair's fair, right? Freedom of speech and all that...
You don't have to have Rootsweb hosting your pages, after all. But as
long as you do, you have to follow their rules. They have rights,
too, including the right not to have their In box cluttered with
people complaining about my peace symbols or me complaining about not
being allowed to voice my views on the war when all the pro-war types
are doing so.
They are being fair, after all. You don't get your flag, I don't get
my peace symbol, and the French guy who thinks we're all fools for
changing the names of our fried potatoes doesn't get to post a
burning American flag on his pages.
