A year ago (4 Jan 2006), USGenWeb Project National Coordinator Linda
Haas Davenport seized a dormant TNGenWeb list (TNGen-L(a)rootsweb.com).
According to her story, all XXGenWeb state lists belong to the NC (as
Project rep) and it was *with RootsWeb's participation* that she took
control of the list. She also unsubbed the subscribers (72 of them).
Later she tried to get the TNGen's actual list administrator banned
from RootsWeb.
If then NVGenWeb(a)rootsweb.com is also dormant, and it is an official
XXGenWeb state list belonging to USGenWeb, would it not be reasonable
for the National Coordinator and RootsWeb to return the administration
NVGenWeb list to the new NVGenWeb SC?

Bill, thanks for taking care of the NVGEN list over the past few months.
It is much appreciated.
While I did see your October 14th post to this list indicating that you
were taking over for Pat, I haven't seen the two emails you refer to.
Please do send me the password.
In any event, Rootsweb should assign a new password and officially
change the admin of the list as I should think they would do when
requested by any state coordinator for official lists used by a state
project. Hopefully that will happen this week, but we'll have to wait
and see.
Many thanks.

Lists?
Thanks Pat, I resent being referred to as an unknown person :o) I have
sent Robert two e-mails to relinquish the site to him with no response.
