Your page is very nice Joann! Do you have any experience with USGENWEB? The
reason I ask is that they have requirements, and the county has a few. The
page you will be taking over is a good page and I think you will be pleased
with it.
The fact that you have ancestors is good. It kinda gives you a feel for the
area.!!
Pleas take a look at the county, and then the main USGenWeb page and if you
would still like to take over Pershing County, we would be happy to have
you!!!

My Web page, which I did myself, is at
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~merlaan.
My great-grandfather, John DeKinder, moved there about 1909. He was a
blacksmith and mayor of Lovelock in the 1940s and 1950s. My
grandmother, Julia DeKinder, was born and raised there, and my
grandfather, Rex Riehm, moved there in his late teens. In addition,
two great-great-grandparents (Martin DeKinder and Celine Dandurand)
are buried there. And my uncle, Jack Riehm, still lives in Lovelock.
I, however, live in Modesto, CA.

Nevada started out to be Washoe, Sierra Nevada, Esmeralda, Bullion, Oro
Plata! We
ended up with Nevada "Snowy"! Go figure!
