I think they have someone Charles, but I appreciate the offer. I advised
them of it.

Charles,
If you go to the Nevada FGS page there is a link for the project manager.
They would be happy to hear from you.
Thanks,
Pat

Pat,
Chuckle, sometimes people are not happy to hear from me. <G>
I guess all of the FGS projects have moved back to the USGenWeb Home,
except
Iowa.
I'm going to stop there, as I already expressed my opinion concerning
that. I
actually do not have much time for more projects. I would taken NV
FGS if
no
one else was available to take it, but I'm actually more
interested in
Georgia. Additionally, I'm part of GAGenWeb as of today. I'd like to help
out in that
state. I already manage NM FGS and the independent Hispanic FGS
Project.
On other matters,
Just because you find a family living back in 1800 who has the same name
as
your ancestors, that doesn't make them "yours." I have
been working on a
Charles Thompson married to a Margaret Clark. His father was a Charles
too-- in
the
1790's they lived in Union Co. SC. The last few days have been
exciting
because I found three will records of a Charles Thompson, John Thompson,
and
William
Thompson just south of Union County in Abbeville County SC. This
Charles
had
a wife named Margaret, and sons John and William. My Charles had sons
John
and
William and Charles. I was about to order the documents but after
thinking
about it the dates do not jive with my Charles family. But its amazing,
same
names, same children, same wife's name, same state and living in
the next
county,
but they are not the same family. I made a similar mistake a few
years ago
and traced out an entire Thompson family only to discover it was not mine.
I
then did it with a GREER family. I guess it takes three mistakes to
get it
right.
