Hi Diane,
Thanks for responding. Sounds good to just go in and check thru the books
to find a marriage date. We were told to check in Washoan county, however,
we live in Kansas, and you live in L.A. Do you have any other suggestion?
Does the library in Nevada have old marriage records from 1936 thru 1944?
Thanks,
George Helton

Hello George:
First thing to do is to figure out where in Nevada they would have
married.... Reno and Carson City were both good places and close to
Sacramento...
If you have the chance, just go search the records. I live in LA, and you
can
go in and scan the books. If they are like the ones in LA, they are
in
alfabetical order, sooo just go year by year and look under the last name.
You can
either search by groom/s name or brides name.
Sorry for the sloppyness, am awfuly tired this eveinign.
Good LUck,
