Mary Jane Richardson was married first to Page Mercer and I she never married again after Jefferson Huff died. She was Mary J. Huff, widow, in the 1900 census in Batesville, Tooele county, UT. She is buried beside Jefferson Huff as Mary Jane Huff in the Tooele City Cemetery.

I have completed posting the tombstone pages for the Mottsville Cemetery in Douglas County. I took these pictures during my trip to Minden, Nevada in 2010. This cemetery was established in 1857, with the death of Hiram and Eliza Mott's third child. This cemetery is located in Northern Nevada, near Genoa, Minden and Carson City. The cemetery is a small cemetery and is still in use today.

Sue Silver, a researcher who is tireless in her searches, has provided information about an almost forgotten cemetery in Carson City, the Hebrew Cemetery. This historical cemetery is actually part of the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson, but is currently not listed on their cemetery map. Sue did research on the people buried in the cemetery, using census data, newspaper clippings, surveys from the Nevada Tombstone Project, on-line searches of various web sites, county records and more. The result is an excellent piece of work that genealogists will welcome. Not only does Sue provide us information about the interred, but we also learn of their family members. A great tool for geneealogists.
Thank you for all your hard work, Sue.

I have finished posting the photos for the Pioche City Cemetery. You can view them online at:
http://usgwtombstones.org/nevada/linccem.html
This cemetery is one of four located in Pioche, which is the county seat for Lincoln County. Pioche was established in the 1870s and has quite a wild and wooly past. It is the home of Boot Hill, where it was rumored that 60-70 people were buried there before someone died of natural causes. You can view all four cemeteries at the link above.
