I have both of their obituaries.
HATTON, Mary McLaughlin born Park City, UT 1876. Married in 1906 to William D. Hatton, now
Judge of 5th Judicial District. She died 9 Jun 1936 at Tonopah. Survived by three sons,
William of Tonopah; Charles of Reno; John of Reno (now at University of Idaho); Three
brothers, James McLaughlin, Supt of Penelas Mine; Chris of Oakland, CA and John J. of

HATTON, William Davidson of Tonopah. Born Wichita, Kansas 10 Oct 1876, son of Judge
Charles Hatton. Received education in Wichita. Admitted to Colorado Bar 1902, entered
practice with his father in Goldfield, NV 1905, until 1916. Moved to Los Angeles to
practise from 1917 to 1917, then returned to NV. First wife was Mary McLaughlin. They had
three sons, all of whom survive - William J., an atorney in Las Vegas, NV; Charles T.,
founder of Hatton's Men Store in Reno; and John. First wife died 1936. Second wife was
Mary Olipant, married in 1939. She survives. He served as District Judge in the Fifth
Judicial District (Mineral, Mye and Esmeralda Counties), from 1935 until July 1957. He
died in Reno 29 May 1958, aged 82 yrs. Survived by wife, three sisters, Mrs. Catherine
Welcome of San Diego, CA; Mrs. Alive Kistner of Pasadena, CA and Mrs. Louise Hall of Los
Angeles. Grandfather of Mrs. Sylvia Jesch of Sparks, NV. Other survivors include William
C. Hatton of North Hollywood, CA;!

I am in the process of extracting the death records of Mineral County and that includes
Esmeralda some of the time. It depends how long ago the death was and if it was published
in the paper.
