Hi Ron,
This is the only information I know about Toano. The site has some email at the
bottom that might be a good contact point for you.

I don't live in Elko County, but know the Elko County Library has a resource
book area that you might want to visit sometime. The books are not allowed ot
be checked out, but you can look them over in the facility. Another good
resource is the Northern Nevada Museum. The museum has several resources and
have been very helpful to me.
Good luck and let me know how you do with this,

Seek information about the family of David Morgan, age 50, who lived
at
Toano, Elko County, NV, in the 1880 census. He lived with his sons David
and
William and their wives Olive and Agnes. In the 1870 census, he lived at
Santaquin, Utah County, UT. He appears to have died before the 1900 census,
but
location is unknown. His son David Morgan lived in Bingham County, ID in
1900.
Where is Toano? What was its history?
Ron, Chicago
