I am not related but have found a few tidbits for you that I am sure they are the same
family.
www.nevadaculture.org (find people) will let you look at information from the 1900 census
in Nevada for Washoe County Wadsworth page 13. (Wadsworth was a railroad town outside
Reno)

I wasn't able to find anything about James Bagnall in Carlin about 1880 just doing a
quick census search. But it seems the children used the name Marshall when Agnes married
Frederick. Also Frederick and Fred are used in the cenus. Some of the names have slighty
different spellings.
