Montello People got to San Francisco
Mr. & Mrs. W. P. Moulton & children, Mr. & Mrs. A. Q. Moulton & daughter,
& Mr. & Mrs. Jay Sherrod left last week for San Francisco. They went to help
celebrate the birthday of Mr. W. E. Moulton, father of Mrs. A. Q. Monton, Mrs. Jay Sherrod
& Mr. W. P. Moulton.

Mr. & Mrs. William Benford returned home last week after visiting in San Francisco
with friends for a few weeks.

School Girl Breaks Ankle.
Edna Craig, a pupil of the eight grade turned her ankle last thursday morning & broke
the small bone of the left leg about two inches ------ ankle. Her leg is now in a plastic
cast, so enabling her to be around on crutches.

Eight Grade boy ill at his Home.
Wesley Johnson is confined to his bed & will be sor several weeks, according to his
physician, with an attack of Heart Disease. He is progressing satisfactorily at present.

The Seventh & Eight grades were entertained Friday morning with a play of five
characters, "The Lost Pocket Book." The play was supervised by Maxine
Holgoboon.

Monday morning the Grammar Grades were entertained with a story of Washington road by
Roseline Cummins.

Glen Craig was absent Friday afternoon due to illness.

Mrs. Wm Otto & Mrs. R. Carlson spent Sat. afternoon in Carlin. On their return, Mrs.
Carlson brought her two grandchildren, Jean & Virginia Johnson with her. The children
will remain with her for some time.

Miss Marjorie Simpson & Gilbert Ware students of the Elko High School, spent the week
end here visiting relativews.

Mrs. Wm Lee, who has been ill at her home for the past few weeks is rapidly recovering.

Mr. Ellington Swayne spent a few days last week visiting in Elko.

Mrs. J. Ostead & children, of Ogden, spent the week end here visiting with friends.

Mrs. C. Canfield & sons, Jack & Ted, made a business trip to Elko, Monday.

Mrs. H. Belnap, of Ogden, is visiting at the home of her son, Dr. Belnap of this place.
She will return to Ogden in a few days.

Mrs. Williams, who has been seriously ill at her home, is recovering rapidly.

In mentioning the names of guest who attended the party given by Mrs. Landreth last week
the following names were omitted: Clariso Gibson, Velna Si----, & William Ware Jr. We
are very sorry such an error was made.

The Poem "Honor To Washingotn" which was printed last week should have been
credited to Shirley McCuistion of the Eight Grade.

The following pupils of the Intermediat grades have been neither absent or tardy during
the sixth month. Leon Otto, Eldred Whipple, Kenneth Brizee.

Miss Velna Simpson, Mr Tell Whitaker & Mr. & Mrs. Dallas Layton were entertained
at the home of Mr. & Mrs. James Bolander Monday evening. The evening was spent in
playing cards & making candy.

Mr. William Hargrave made a business trip to Elko Tuesday. He returned Tuesday evening on
train No # 10.

Mr. Stephens, an employee of the Southern Pacific Company, has moved his family from Ogden
to Montello. They ae making their home in one of the houses of Mr. William Banford.

Miss Velna Simpson dined at the home of Mr. & Mrs. James Bolander Wednesday evening.
