Kimberly,
Thanks for your reply.
I've been trying to get a handle on this older cousin I never knew, save for family
stories, for a variety of reasons, one of which being generational.
FORNARO was a large family spread out over a couple of decades and there are still quite a
few descendants of the original FORNARO couple to come to the US from Italy in the early
1890's on the East Coast. 3rd & 4th great-grandchildren in the least and perhaps
some 5th greats are around as well as the youngest of the grandchildren, most of whom are
now grandparents themselves.
I stumbled on an obit for my Joseph FORNARO after I posted this but, because he was
divorced, it doesn't mention his wife/wives names but does name survivors in Las
Vegas.
I'm hoping, ideally, for marriage announcements from the newspaper in order that I can
confirm that the Joseph whose two marriages I'm looking at is one in the same man as
well as being my Joseph and perhaps also learn from the announcements, something about his
wife/wives.
The obit confirms that the 2000 marriage is Joseph's son. However, it would still be
nice to have a wedding announcement from the newspaper to attach to the family tree
entry.
If the marriages are my Joseph, the parents named for him will be Louis/Luigi FORNARO and
Sara/Cosima BARONE. I don't know much about Joseph's wife/wives but I suspect
that the Ann Barry FORNARO whose marriage I am looking for may be Joseph's ex.
It would be interesting to sometime establish contact with the son in Las Vegas as I
don't know how much he knows of the family left back in the home state since I
don't know if Joseph kept in contact with his siblings once he left.
I welcome any help you can give with finding the information/announcements I'm looking
for.
