It seems possible she didn't "die" in Nevada. So, in your quest to help
your family history search:
The Social Security Death Index:
Armida Lambard, born 5 Oct 1908, died 14 Dec 1995. "Last residence:" Las Vegas,
Clark Co, Nevada.
---The "last residence" on the SSDI is NOT necessarily where a person actually
lived or died. The Social Security Administration calls it simply the "home of
record," and possibly the address where correspondence by the SSA was sent. It is
not necessarily where any benefit was paid to the person, survivor, or the lumpsum death
benefit (in years past, it was paid to anyone paying burial expenses, family member,
funeral home, city/county, attorney; today, a living spouse). It is sometimes the
location where the notification of death was sent to the SSA, sometimes where the lump sum
death benefit was sent.
US City Directories:
Armida Lambard was in Phoenix, AZ, in 1935,-1936, spouse name: Achilles Lambard.
US Public Records:
Armida, shown with DOB: 5 Oct 1909, lived at 3789 Edmond St, Las Vegas, NV in 1989. In
1992, there was a Gentry family in that residence.
In 1993, she was shown at 3114 E. Garfield Street, Phoenix, AZ.--Also at this address in
1993 was a Sandra Samaniego. Two different persons were shown there in 1994.
A family tree shows Achilles A. Lambard, born 24 Dec 1888 in Turkey, died 16 June 1955 in
Maricopa County, Arizona. One child, George Lambard, born 1925 in AZ, died 26 July 2006
in Phoenix, Maricopa Co, AZ. His wife Emily died in 2003. The tree is named "Gail
Lambard Webb" owned by Phillip Webb. I sent a message to this owner to read this
thread.
Achilles is buried in Phoenix:
