I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Clifford Charlock DOUGLAS
which was taken at the Hunter Tuppen Co. Studio in Syracuse, NY when he was
just 4 months old and weighed 17 lbs. Based on limited research I was able
to locate the following information regarding Clifford and his family:
Clifford Charlock DOUGLAS was b. 8 Mar 1909 in Syracuse, NY to parents
William J. DOUGLAS (1879-1956) and Gertrude Fidela CHARLOCK (1877-1937).
Clifford had only one sibling. Clifford married Sarah Elizabeth WELBANKS
(1909-1997). The couple had three children including, John A.; Mary Louise;
and one other. Clifford died 6 May 1991 in Syracuse, NY and was buried in
the Onondaga Valley Cemetery in Syracuse, NY. His obituary indicates that
he was survived by his wife Sarah (1909-1997), a son John A. DOUGLAS of Las
Vegas, NV; and two daughters, Mary LISANDRO of Brewerton, NY; and Sarah
LEDDY of Syracuse, NY.
