Have you checked the state page for deaths and obituaries, and then have you
checked the Clark County page for resources such as cemeteries, etc.?

Subject: [NVClark] Peterson, Charles
Lost one grandfather! Can anyone help? He came from Sweden at the
age of
10 and the first record I have is in Kemmerer WY Where he married Hattie
Mullens and owned a tailor shop in 1906-1907. In the 1920 Kemmerer Census
the family seemed to be doing well owned their house had 5 children. Now
the murky anecdotal family history kicks in. Some say he was badly burned
in a fire? The family moved to Las Vegas sometime in the 20's why? Two of
the girls married there and next I find my grandmother Hattie listed as a
widow in the 1930 Lancaster CA census. He supposedly was alive 1925-1929
and then wandered off in to the desert and no one knows what happened. The
family were exceedingly poor and affected by the depression and? Why would
a family go to LV at that time? The dam? My grandmother Hattie Mullens
Peterson came to America with the Mormon immigration and I am assuming the
Petersons would have been Mormon also. I am currently trying to track those
records. If you c!
ould even help with possible avenues of research I would be most
grateful
Katy
