The LDS Family History Center in downtown Las Vegas and 9th and Lewis is one
of the best locations to seach.
If it was Nevada History, I would recommend the Nevada State Library and
Historic Society which is excellent. (Anxious to get there myself).
There are special collections at University of Nevada Las Vegas located on
Maryland Parkway between Flamingo Rd and Tropicana. Their website is at:
http://www.unlv.edu./If you have a specific interest, there are many museums
and libraries with specific collections. Please let me know.

Subject: [NVCLARK] Las Vegas Libraries
Hi,
I will be visiting Las Vegas in a few weeks. My husband will be attending
a
convention and I thought maybe I could spend that time doing some
research. Can anyone tell me which libraries or other repositories in Las
Vegas have good genealogical collections? I would be interested in general
info, not any specific to Nevada.
Thanks for your help.
Val
