Funeral services for Fallon native David "Skip" Harriagn, 81, will be conducted
Monday, 1:30 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church. Visitation is Sunday, 7-8 p.m. at
Smith Family Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Fallon Cemetery.
Harrigan died April 21, 1999 at Churchill Community Hospital.
Born March 21, 1918 in Fallon to Francis A. and Martha Oats Harrigan, he was a lifetime
resident. A welder for many construction companies and the Churchill County Road Dept., he
was also a farmer. He was a Navy Seabee during World War II.
Harrigan was preceded in death by wife Vera in August, 1994.
Survivors includ son, Marvin, daughters, Yvonne Prettyman and Sidney Imeson, sister, Cora
Sanford, all of Fallon; sister, Mary Henne of Pasco, Wash.; three grandsons and numerous
nieces and neephews.
The family suggests donations in his memory to St. John's Room to Grow program, in
care of St. John's Lutheran Church, 1170 S. Taylor St., Fallon, or the Churchill
County Museum, 1050 S. Maine St., Fallon 89406
