Debera:
I don't know if she is related to me or not. That is why I am trying to track her
down. I have a lot of newspaper articles about her trial. I guess she was quite the woman
in her day. She moved around the area where there was a good business for her line of
work. She was working in Tuscarora, Virginia City, Silver City, Truckee (where she killed
Tom Kelly in 1872). She was sentenced to 27 years in prison, a year later she had twins by
the warden. She was pardoned in 1875. She then went to Winnemucca, back to Truckee, then
to Elko (where in 1879 she was in a fire, was burned badly and had to give up her career).
Her names were also listed as FORSHA and FOSHEY.

Hi,
I wish I could help you on your 'lost lady' but I have no information to
provide to you. Her story sounds so intriguing. Love to hear more. I
noticed you both have the same last name...how is she related to you? My
family is from Carson City and have been there since 1852 when it was still
Utah, so if I should come across any information on your lady of the night*, I
will keep your email address handy and pass on the information.
Good luck,
Debera
