The Walker River Valley Indian Reservation, south of Lake Tahoe, was home
to over two thousand Native Americans at the beginning of the twentieth
century. This database is a collection of records compiled from agent
census rolls for the years 1902 through 1906. Facts regarding name, sex,
age, relationship to head of household, and year of census are provided for
over 2000 reservation residents. Taken from microfilmed records in the
Nevada State Archives, this collection can be a useful source of
information for those seeking Native American ancestors who lived in
western Nevada.
