It may well be him Peter, but I cannot make that connection from the service
record. The two instances of the place, as written there, look nothing like
"Strelley". It would be wrong of me at this stage to just link it to the
Strelley 'Joseph Kirk' and hope that there was a simple explanation for why
the place-of-birth looked like "Storley".
This is part of a very large "Kirk" project to identify just a single lady,
but if I make a mistake or a rash conclusion then it could impact the case
that I eventually want to write up.

Family Search has a Joseph Kirk baptised 1787 in Strelley to Thomas Kirk
and Anne, that seems an exact match for the location and the 1832 death at
Notts Surname List
