Stephanie. I am so very sorry to hear what has happened to you and to so very many folks
in New Jersey and New York. I truly wish I had money to send to you to help you but
I've unfortunately been close to homeless myself several times over the past 3-4
years.
Please stay in touch with me and let me and others know how you are. My heart breaks for
everyone in your community as well as the others who have been so horribly impacted.

Hello all from a radically changed Monmouth County.
I am sure that you have been watching the news and know what is going on. I
can tell you that what the news is reporting is not even close to what it
is actually like up here.
It's like a war zone...
I am presently sitting in a shelter at Monmouth University. My home was
completely flooded out and I lost everything. All of my genealogy is gone.
I managed to save a few photos, but the really old ones are lost forever. I
have no clothes, furniture or a home to go back to. My entire life was
wiped out in just minutes. The flooding was awful and me and my family were
right in the middle of it. One of these days I'll tell you about it, but I
can't bring myself to remember it all now. It's all I can do to fight back
the tears and type this to you all.
That's all I have for now. Just wanted you to know that....
Stephanie is here for Monmouth and Ocean County.
