Thanks for getting us rolling, Stephanie. I'm here for Bergen, Camden,
Hudson and as SC.
Just so you all know, I have been nominated and appear to be the only
candidate for SEMA CC Rep. (SEMA - Southeast Middle Atlantic region).
Fortunately, since several events last summer, things have been much more
peaceful inside the USGenWeb project. We also have been fortunate to have
a good group of AB members who have the ability to disagree peacefully and
work through issues. We don't always agree with each other, however,
peaceful resolution of issues for the project is a much welcomed matter.
If you are registered to vote, please be sure to take the time to do so. I
hope everyone is registered. We have important matters that must be
handled each year.... some different, some over the same matters over time.
I urge you to vote for the person of your choice. I would never tell you
how to vote; however, those who have been sitting on the board this past
year or two that are currently still on the board, is a great group of
folks. There has been, in the past, attempts to "overthrow" the AB and to
dismantle it. It was created for a good reason.... to handle the day to
day matters that some times come up that must be dealt with. If you have
any questions you would like to ask me, please feel free to write me in
private, or on the NJGen list.
Thanks everyone. so..... don't forget to vote. You should be receiving
your password for voting soon.
