I'm not sure how many of you use CC Helper. In other states, it was
required. For myself, I point my users to the message boards to eliminate
the overhead of maintaining a duplicate forum when a sufficient forum
exists. Some states have a hard time with handling the "Query Page"
requirement in this manner. I CC in six states plus NJ and I always check
with the SC--some are okay with it, some are not.
This might be a topic we should discuss and come to some concensus on for
NJ. Anyone have any input...?

Subject: [STATE-COORD-L] SURNAME HELPER
(Please forward to your State lists.)
Effective 1 May 2003, RootsWeb will discontinue support for Surname Helper
and remove it from their servers.
Surname Helper users must select some other indexing program in their
profile settings (such as CCHelper <
http://www.rootsweb.com/~cchelper/>)
as
the program that indexes Query Express. This must be done before
Surname
Helper is removed from RootsWeb's servers.
