Al,
There is always someone who will not be pleased with it, no matter what is done.
I had a choice between having a few people who did not want to use the blog to sort out
some bylaws, and more than a few people who would complain about the "spam" mail
they were receiving from this email list. The blog is a wonderful way to allow commenting
on some very complex questions, and it can be quickly organized into a final draft for
voting purposes.
I've removed your invitation to the blog. Should you change your mind in the future
about joining let me know and I will re-invite you.
If you want to be sent the information on the policy and bylaws that was originally posted
on the blog, I'll be happy to send it, just let me know.
Janice

You're not the only one who doesn't understand this faulty attempt to communicate.
Blogging, like
any web based technology is a pull technology, meaning that the recipient needs to take a
specific
action to read something. And needs to take that action often, because they never know
when
something new is posted.
Email is a push technology. The writer pushes the information to the reader. The reader
doesn't
have to log on to a site repeatedly to get the information.
Let's get back to doing the way that is going to benefit most of the people who are
doing the work
in NJGenWeb, the CC/TC's. Blogging might be nice if you have nothing else to do with
your time, but
email is better for the rest of us.
