Hi everyone!
I haven't seen this discussed on the list, so I wanted to make sure that
everyone knew about this wonderful digital resource. Quoting from their
site, "The New Jersey Digital Highway is your "one stop shop" for New
Jersey history and culture, from the collections of NJ libraries,
museums, archives and historical societies."
While some counties that I checked have no material available (Warren,
Sussex, Hunterdon), others like Atlantic and Hudson have thousands of
digitized items online.
You can check your county using their browse by county feature:
http://www.njdigitalhighway.org/browse/map.php
Or, you can perform keyword searches using the boolean search engine:
http://www.njdigitalhighway.org/search/index.php
While not everything online is genealogical in nature, the variety in
content is amazing.
Happy searching!!
