Regarding comments on the H1 section of the bylaws...
Your objections are so noted.
Please, however do realize that the header states:
(H) General Statements (not binding or mandatory):
Not binding or mandatory means you are not bound by these two statements. They are
general statements that are probably something that we, as a group, need to discuss in the
future. They are recommended, but no current coordinator will be forced to comply with
the contents of those two statements, unless we as a group vote to make a part or all of
those statements binding and mandatory.
I will let you know, however, that as long as I am the SC, if someone wants to adopt an
available county, and if they EITHER currently provide a site with links and little new
content, OR as a new coordinator, their intent is to just maintain the status quo, and not
add new content, then I will probably not approve of their adopting it.
------------------------------------
As far as the H2 statement
"Coordinators are NOT required to perform research at a visitors request.
Coordinators should provide whatever guidance they are able or willing to offer." I
think that is self-explanatory.
No one will be penalized, punished, censured, or made to feel less of a human being
because they won't perform research for someone. You are only expected to answer
emails sent to you on your site. If you have the time and ability to offer, more, YAY.
If not, thats fine.

FYI to everyone. We recently had a town coordinator resign because he did not like the
amount of mail he was receiving. I apologize that you are receiving a lot of mail right
now. But there is no other way to get our bylaws reviewed and voted on without it. If
anyone wants to receive their mail from this list in digest form, let me know. Realize in
advance, however, that receiving mail in digest form may delay your receiving important
notices about votes and changes in the NJGenWeb.
Please do not remove yourself from this email list unless your intent is to resign from
the NJGenWeb program. If there are extenuating circumstances where you still feel you
still need to do that, please send me a personal email at janicebr(a)earthlink.net and we
can discuss it.
