I agree with Al ... this seems like a lot of effort for something that is pretty much
common sense practice in the web dev world (i.e. logos should link to their respective
sites).
Most likely, someone, somewhere found a logo linked to something else other than the
USGenWeb project and now it's the "bee in their bonnet" issue of the day.
I'll vote yes to support it.
I already have both the USGenWeb and NJGenWeb logos on the homepage and linked to the
respective sites. So, no big impact for me. Again, common sense stuff.
