I'm going to put my two cents into this, and let me preface it with "This is
only my opinion."
As it has already been stated, you cannot legislate "common sense" even
though governing bodies continue to try.
If the offender that started this, was not reprimanded by their State
representative appropriately,
do we really believe that putting legislative words to this will really
change anything?
If someone is going to misuse a link then they really don't care what the
by-laws say to begin with
and they are going to act as they please.
No I am not in support of the proposed amendment.

We're getting down to the wire to get the ballot for the upcoming election
set. The EC has asked if there would be an amendment on the ballot or not
this year. So far, there are three states that are listed as
co-sponsoring
the amendment at
http://usgenweb.org/volunteers/notice.shtml. Five
states
must co-sponsor an amendment to get it on the ballot. Are there any other
states that are intending to lend their support for this amendment by
co-sponsoring it? We need to know ASAP, but no later than 30 May so we
can
get it on the ballot.
