I have been trying to find the right Ship that my G.Grandfather came out from London on to New Zealand. I had the National Archives do a research for me looking for him as a paid immigrant and found three Henry Price's.
1. Henry Price arriving on Lancashire Witch in 1863.
2. Henry Price " " Ocean Mail" 1875.
3.Henry Price " " Hydaspes" in 1878
They think he may have paid his own passage and they asked me to write to the National Newspaper collection held by the Alexander Turnbull Library. Now do they have an Email. Now I have been told that the Henry Price that came out on the Lancashire Witch , is not Henry price but Hubert Price. Now letter that i got from The National Archives said Henry Price.
So could someone tell me who am I to believe which is the right name. It would help me alot if I knew.
