Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I just would like to inform the people on this mailing list that if they get emails from me & I spell there name wrong, please accept my apologies if I mispell any of your names.
I think you should all know that I have bad Glaucoma and sometimes I hit the wrong key as I have only tunnel vision. I would prefer for you to know than face what I have this week in the form of abuse.
It didnt come from any mailing sites thank goodness, but I feel I should tell you all so that if I do make any mistakes you will understand why. I inheritated this disease from my father's youngest brother. Now the person I got the abuse from knew also that I had bad Glaucoma and I thought I was doing my family research quite well.
But I am afraid I put to n's in her first name, and I did it twice on two diferent emails. I said sorry and explained why, but the second time I really got it.
Now I have people calling me Noeline, or Noelene, But I dont think that matters.
Anyhow I just felt I should tell you and I am sorry if I have already done it.
Best wishes Noeline from Brisbane.
