"Two Hearts Made One.
At the home of Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Cosper last evening at 8 o'clock, occurred the
marriage of Miss Zula Slyter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Slyter, to Clinton H. Cosper,
Rev. J. L. Ivey tying the mystic knot with the impressive marriage ceremony of the
Methodist church. The bride was attended by Mrs. G. L. Cosper, and G.L. Cosper, brother
of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The bride came to Granville from Iowa three years
ago and has since resided with her parents north of town, where she enjoyes the esteem of
a large circle of friends. Mr. Cosper is the proprietor of the Granville machine shops
and is well and favorably known. Following the wedding ceremoney and the congratulations
of friends, the Granville Cornet band, of which Mr. Cosper is a member, appeared in front
of the house much to the surprise of the newly married couple, and rendered several
selections. Mr. and Mrs. Cosper have commenced housekeeping in a dwelling recently
completed by Mr. Cosper in the w!
est part of town. The Record joins their many friends in extending congratulations and
best wishes for a happy and prosperous voyage through life."
THis could be Hugh Clinton Cosper, who died in Nevada in 1940.
