I found these references to burials for Keeley:
James Keeley, miner, Native of Ireland
d. May 3, 1873 in mining accident at the Blecher mine, he was 48 years old. He was buried
in the Catholic Cemetery at Gold Hill.
Julia A. Keeley, b. New York, d. July 11, 1870 from childbirth, aged 30 years. She was
buried by her husband in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Gold HIll.
Julia S. Keeley, d. August 3, 1870, aged one month seven days, buried by parent at Odd
Fellows Cemetery in Gold HIll (possibly the child Julia A. died giving birth to)
Thomas H. Keeley, Native of Ireland, d. November 4, 1904, aged 69 years, death certificate
witnessed by Mrs. A. O. Giroux
John Keeley, native of Ireland, d. November 1, 1903, aged 77 years, death certificate
witnessed by B. Noce.
Also found reference to a Dr. Leslie E. Keeley, devloper of Keeley's Cure for
Drunkenness, and founder of Keeley's Institute in Carson City 1895 for cures of
alcohol, tobacco and opium habits. He died in Los Angeles February 22, 1900 of heart
failure at age 68.
Re: Notice of Intent
The Nevada State Library & Archives has the 'delecration of intent' for
naturalization on microfishe by county. The can be reached at 775-684-3360, or mail 100
Stewart St, Carson City NV 89701. I've been told sometimes the place where
'declaration of intent' was filed, is not always place where naturalization took
place, you might want to keep that in mind.
