Hi there,
I guess I zapped a past email as I don't remember seeing anything on
POTTER/BRODY. I have a great grandfather, Benjamin F. Potter born in 1867 in
Nevada. His father (my gr gr grandfather) was born in England and his mother (
gr gr grandmother) was born in Massachusettes. This information I got from the
1900 Census of San Francisco. I don't know where in Nevada Benjamin was born as
they didn't keep birth records then. Hence, I don't know the names of my gr gr
grandparents. I did find one couple - a J. Potter and Sarah Potter, whose birth
places matched Benjamin's parents but Benjamin, who would have been 13 at the
time (1870) wasn't listed with them. Not uncommon probably but that still
leaves the question of is that them or not open. Any of this match what you are
looking for?
Thanks,

I searched the Nevada Historical Societies Records and also the Washoe
County Marriage Record database and found no references to Brody-Potter.
