Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I'm wondering why I'm getting emails from you. I did belong to Rootsweb Limerick but am currently off the list. ??

I belong to the Firefox list on Yahoo and find it active and helpful,
even though I don't use Firefox, it helps with SeaMonkey.

========NETSCAPE Mailing List========
Do you have a Netscape related website that you would like to see advertised in this space? Contact Netscape-Admin(a)rootsweb.com
To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NETSCAPE-request@rootsweb..com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
I gave incomplete instructions in my first email. Sorry. Here is what
you /really/ do:
If you have an L subscription:
send an email to: netscape-L-request(a)rootsweb.com
If you have a D subscription:
send an email to: netscape-D-request(a)rootsweb.com
Okay, the rest is the same, put 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the
subject and the body of the email.
If you have any problems, feel free to contact me.

Thanks for your response. I'm afraid I'm two of the 61 members. I
had to re-subscribe w/ gmail because not only did I delete my folders,
I also screwed up my verizon account and can't send any mail from it.
If no one here can help, I'll send a similar message to RootsWeb's Firefox list.
Well, I really screwed up royally. :-( Although we obtained
high-speed Internet access several months ago, I didn't cancel our old
account (ten years with Mindspring -- I hated to go!). Yesterday I
decided I could at least delete all but one of the Mindspring
identities in Netscape. I deleted my husband's Mindspring/Earthlink
identity and my old Mindspring admin identity. Somehow I must have
also deleted one of the Verizon identities (my admin ID) so lost it
and all of the folders and thousands of messages. Doh!
I used System Restore and I can see the old folders in Windows
Explorer, but don't know where to move the folders or how to change
the path so that folders reappear in Netscape.
Googling found a similar issue on the Unofficial Netscape FAQ site.
Alas, no solution was provided.
Hope this makes sense and that someone can help me.
