I am glad that I got two pictures of my great grandmother Lottie Leora White nee
Canfield's parents George M. Canfield and Sarah Jane Canfield nee Webb in Wyuka. I
got it yesterday. It is very interesting headstone.
Regarding two new requests, I would appreciate if anyone can look up in death records at
1. I found out through old paperwork from my grandparent. My great great grandmother
Martha Allen White nee Scott died in 1919 in Otoe County. She was widowed since 1891.
She was a daughter of John Scott and Eliza Skelly. I am happy to pay any costs.
2. I found out from Canfield Association some years ago. My great grandmother Lottie had
a brother Corwin B. Canfield. I did look up in Iowa and Nebraska Census from 1870 to
1920. His name is not on list. I assume that he might had died at infant. Or, he might
had stayed in Iowa or Nebraska School(Institute)for the Deaf. I hardly remember the name
of my great great uncle. My grandpa did give me a name long time ago but I forgot the
name. It might be Corwin. It is strange that I am a deaf researcher, too. It is nothing
do with heredity. My grandpa remembered that his uncle was tough and an expert signer in
1900's. If it is not him, it would be on White family side. No problem. I would be
happy to pay any costs. I do appreciate if anyone can look up in death records for him
from 1904 to present.
Thank you for your help.
