I couldn't resist buying two photos identified as Lillie and Laura taken by photographers Ferguson of Talmage and Miller of Talmage, Nebraska. These little dollies have blond hair and big blue eyes. They appear to be about one year of age in the first photo and are wearing white pinafores. In the next photo, they may be about ten years of age, have their blond hair tied with a white ribbon and are wearing white ruffled blouses.
I tried browsing the Censuses for Talmage, NE, but I could not find them.
I am not related. I bought these photos at an antique paper show. I would like to connect them with family members or family researchers. Please contact me if you have an interest in these photos.

What I am in need of is a photo of my ancestor
Wm Cralle Fowlkes that was in the area for
several years before his death in 1880.
I have a picture of his spouse Martha Ann
but unfortunately have no pics of him.
Also am looking for a copy of a divorce decree
between Peter Fouts and spouse Jerusha
(Denend) Fouts after 1860 census but prior to
1864 when Jerusha m/2 William Jones.
Also am looking for any truth to the matter that
perhaps Jerusha may have been Native
American (Cherokee) it has been said. A
cousin on one of hers' & Peters' daughters
(Sarah Jane (Fouts) Bonebrake) was said to
have been Cherokee by birth, would have been
on moms' side as Peters' family emigrated from
the Bavaria Germany area.
Jerusha and Wm disappear from any other
census records 1870/1880/1900. There was
a Wm & Jarusia Jones in Lawrence Co MO
but that lady was a BECK by birth.
Any help out there would be greatly appreciated.
I do Not Need nor do I Want the article
written about my ancestor by the gentleman
who founded Arbor Day as I have now rec'd
(30 three copies of said article.
I want a copy of the Actual Obituary that
was probably placed in the paper by a family
member upon the death of my ancestor
William Cralle Fowlkes, died 12 Jan 1880.
No one seems to think I know of which I
I would like the actual Obituary for my
ancestor for my files.
Thanks so much if someone could get me
a copy as the library does not seem to be
able to get this item for me.
