Please read this everyone. These pictures should be returned to family, and
these wonderful people are trying very hard to do just that!

List Admin
Good Morning List Administrator,
I belong to the Nebrroots list and will send you the information I recently
sent to that plus a couple of other lists. Am trying to find the
family/families (I believe they are all related) of the pictures so they
may
be returned to their rightful homes. You are more than welcome to
publish
it
on your list if you would like but I am not a subscriber to your list
at
this
time. OR.....if you have any suggestions as to how I might have the
best
results please feel free to advise me. I have sent copies of some or all of
the pictures to people who have requested them.....two were county list
administrators and another was going to take them to a local newspaper to
see
if they had any interest in printing them. Anyway, so far no one has
said.....I know who they are. If I do not find the owners will probably
contact one of the Eastern Nebraska Historical Socities to see if they are
interested in getting them as I just couldn't stand to see them end up in
another Antique Shop. I asked the seller where & how he obtained them. He
said he remembered they were all together and that he had bought them at an
Auction. He was from the Orlando Florida area so assume he bought them in
Florida.
See below for the original message.
As I said.....need your suggestions or help.
Have a nice day, Gretchen Flynn (born & raised in North Platte).
Hello Everyone,
If you read this note more than once it's because I'm sending it to several
lists. I recently purchased from Ebay 21 cabinet pictures. They probably
all
came from the same photo album but am not positive. Will describe them
to
the
best of my ability. If anyone is interested in seeing any of them, or
if
you
are a descendent of anyone named (only a few have names) please
contact us
at: dddarwin(a)aol.com and we will email you the one/ones you are interested
in. Forgive me any errors, as some of the print is very faint.

On the last three I am not sure if it was the same photographer as photo
marked Bowers/Hacker as these three do not show a town name. All photos
appear to be approximately the same time frame....i.e. mid to late 1890s.
Please do contact us if these are your family or someone you know. We
would
like to see these photos returned to their proper homes and families.
Everyone have a great week, Gretchen & Don
