I am still looking for evidence of the death of baby twins: Ole and Marie Olesen. Their
dad, Christian Olesen, is listed on the April 1874 Census for Buda, Precinct of Lancaster.
Christian returned to Denmark, was married, in Denmark, to Else Marie Andersen. They
returned to the US and his homestead land in Lancaster County, Nebr in March of 1876. One
family record shows the twins were born in 1876 and they died in 1878; presumably buried
in Lancaster County - maybe near Buda. Find A Grave has a memorial for Infants Unknown
buried in Hallam at the John Sothan Family Cemetery #58982690. Is Hallam near Buda?
Would there have been a church in that area around 1876-1878, where possibly a record of
the twins could be found?
THANK YOU!
Jean Jorgensen

Subject: [NEGEN-LANCASTER] ADMINISTRATOR NOTE
Hi all, since there have been no posts in more than a year, I would
ask that you post a query on your LANCASTER County ancestor and be
sure that you BEGIN a NEW email with your ancestors names, time frame
they were here and what you are seeking to add to your research.
Please DO NOT put ROLLCALL in the SUBJECT lkne. Put the full name of
your ancestor. I would really appreciate it if everyone post
something. Many list members have NEVER posted and it serves no
purpose to be on this list if you don't ask questions or even post
some good information.
Thank you and Have a Happy & safe July 4th!
