Subject: Picture from Lincoln's past
I have a picture of my gr grandfather, Harvey E. Van Eman, standing in front
of a building in Lincoln in about 1910. In one of the building's windows,
there is a sign that reads, "Louis A. Gregory, Christian Science
Practitioner." I was able to locate two of Mr. Gregory's grandchildren &
sent them a copy of this wonderful old picture but I would like to find the
street address of this office building which was the "First National Bank of
Lincoln." If anyone has access to an old phone book or can tell me where
to write for help on this matter, I would appreciate it. Also, of course,
would like to hear from anyone related to these families. I'm also related
to the Dill family who were some of the first settlers in Bethany, which is
now a part of Lincoln.
Thank you,
Diane Ethridge
